Hi Brad, another great post. It's so important to help people take ownership -- I could see this being a real helpful exercise!

I commented a few times to see if you might be interested in sharing posts like this in a resource library for youth pastors? http://www.calledtoyouthministry.com/resources I thought I'd try one last time.

If you could share a link to the site that'd be a huge blessing to as we're just getting off the ground. Our mission is to train & support volunteer/part-time youth pastors, a huge need. You could add the site (www.calledtoyouthministry.com) to your blogroll as "Youth Ministry Resources" or just use the code below: Youth Ministry Resources

Let me know what you think. Thanks much, appreciate all you do!!

[...] Obviously there are only a few leaders over the course of their career who will ever have the title of CEO next to their name. But this is a great exercise, and a great way to engage your team/staff in embracing their areas of responsibility/ownership. via bradlomenick.com [...]

I like it. CEO also can mean Chief Energy Officer... not only bringing the ownership and leadership as a CEO (Chief Executive Officer) but also the energy, enthusiasm and drive like a CEO (Chief Energy Officer).
