I tend to think it's my most balanced week of the year and I'm absolutely energized by it. I've been blessed to work at jobs for most of my career where we have this week off... and while I don't really have the luxury of completely taking the week off, the change of pace and not being bound to office hours allows me fresh perspective. This week is my favorite week of the year because I use it for reflection, planning, family time, relaxing, lots of reading and some work thrown in the mix. We have a big January 1 deadline, we are rushing around the office to get things ready. I don't mind it, really - it helps this week go by faster.
