These guys win the big games & that counts for a lot. However, Meyer gets the edge for me for a few reasons. First, the Utah program. Not only did he turn it into a really good program. It's still a good program in the years since his departure. He obviously did something right. It didn't crumble. Also, don't forget that he even had Bowling Green playing some really good football before he went to Utah. The secondy reason I give him the edge: I'm a huge Gators fan. We'll also see how good he is when he no longer has the best player in the country playing QB. I would have to say it’s a tight race between Meyer & Carroll. With his ability to replace player after player AND proving he can consistently win the big games, the conversation comes to rest with Pete Carroll. Unless of course you'd like to focus on his cross town rival coach, Mr. Rick Neuheisel currently at UCLA.
