Hey Brad,
I met you briefly at the Whiteboard Sessions Conference in Reston, VA. I work for Prison Fellowship as the National Director of our Next Generation Initiative. Oh yeah, and I'm also the Rock, Paper, Scissors champion of the World! Or Guiness Book of World Records Champion at least. I was the one who won that little competition at Catalyst West:) Seriously. It was hillarious. I went nothing but scissors the whole way and won.
Anyway, very cool that you're in Rawanda. I've been learning a lot about the country and the genocide as well the past couple years from my good friend Catherine Larson. Catherine actually just released a book in Feb with Zondervan called "As We Forgive...Stories of Reconciliation in Rawanda." She's good friends with Laura who did the documentary and Bishop John Rucyahanna. The book is doing well and she just reprinted it. She's been doing some conferences and blog tours over the past couple months as well. Anyway just thought you may be interested in learning more about it since you're there experiencing it and have been learning so much about it. You can check it out at www.asweforgivebook.com.
Oh, and I was wondering if I might be able to trade in that free Catalyst ticket for maybe the video talks from Catalyst West?:)
Have a great trip!
