Here is a recommendation on some books to read. Thought I’d give these to you by video to make it a little more fun. Chad Johnson, the popular voice and face for Catalyst, joins me.

1. Just Courage by Gary Haugen

2. Small Footprint, Big Handprint by Tri Robinson

3. The Sacred Echo by Margaret Feinberg

4. Wide Awake by Erwin McManus

5. Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris

6. Make the Impossible Possible by Bill Strickland

Thanks for the suggestions. Did you know everything was coming out backwards? The titles are all backwards. Weird mirror thing or something. Anyway you could list the books on here as well. Easier to jump to amazon that way. thanks.

  2. Chad Johnson says:

I am just honored to be on Brad Lomenick’s blog…even if it is just hanging out in the background. Thanks for letting me be a stage prop…this is my chance to make it BIG!

it’s backwards tuesday. should we read these right right to left? :)

  4. bradlomenick says:

thanks to Doug for the heads up on the titles being backwards. I have some folks trying to figure out why they showed up backwards, but not getting anywhere. sorry about that!

Daniel- here in Georgia, we read right to left… you didn’t realize that???

  5. Danny says:

My wife’s mind was blown my Margaret Feinberg’s talk at 7:22, so it appears I will be reading her book.

  6. Brad–

Great recommendations. “Just Courage” is one my favorite books this year.

Sidenote: It would be great to get Gary Haugen or someone from the IJM team back on the podcast if possible to talk about the 27million people in Human Trafficking today.

Another book I’d consider adding to the list is “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan.

Keep stirring the pot. Do not grow weary in doing good.

  7. Rob Shepherd says:

Brad, Chad Johnson is good eye candy. I suspect that is the real reason you made this post into a video. I predict a bunch more hits on your site now. Did you know he was homecoming king in high school?
